When trying to connect to a stream on my LAN located on a Windows XP PC
running Windows Media Encoder 9, from my Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone running
Media Player 10, I get the following error:

Alert
An unknown error 0X80070057 has occurred.

I am able to connect on other Windows XP PCs using Windows Media Player 10.
Any input into the above error?

Other notes:
- Like on the PCs, I'm attempting to open a URL http://192.168.1.101:8080
via a local WiFi connection.
- I've disabled the GPRS connection to attempt to ensure that it is not
trying to find connect to a server outside the local network.
- I know the WiFi connection has been made and has been issued a local IP#.

Thanks,
Matt

Dear Matt, I had this error message when i tried to acess a particular
radio station, insert at the end of URL the string "Default". Example
http://189.96.92.200:52918/Default some kinds of versions at windows media
like windows media player mobile for samsung i617 doesn´t work if you just
put http://189.96.92.200:52918/ . Good Luck!
