How to deinstall ActiveSync 4.5 on my PDA

Hallo!
ActiveSync 4.5 doesn't work on my computer and PDA. ActveSync 4.2 did. Is it
possible to deinstall version 4.5 on my computer as well on the PDA. On my
computer I know how to do it. But when I later install version 4.2 the PDA
expects version 4.5 and disallows to continue.
What can I do?

I've never seen any version of ActiveSync that installs on the
handheld; it's always been there in ROM, as part of the operating
system. Newer versions of Windows Mobile often require newer versions
of ActiveSync (on the PC), and I've never seen a way to avoid that,
except by using something other than ActiveSync.
