RDP/VNC between 2 mobiles / between mobile & PCs

Hi,

Nowadays remote desktop
connection from mobile is possible
on windows based mobiles.

RDP connections to linux
machines are possible by setting
up xrdp server.
Do embedded linux based
mobiles have similar feature ?

Also VNC viewer from smartphones
to windows desktop is available.

VNC is supported by most of the
linux desktop distros.
Do embedded linux based
smartphones have VNC viewer
support ?

In windows based smartphones
or mobiles, Is there any support
for RDP connection / VNC
viewer between 2 windows based
mobiles ?

Do embedded linux based
smartphones / mobiles support
VNC between 2 embedded linux
based mobiles ?

Not sure if RDP/VNC from
embedded linux based mobile
to Windows/Linux PC is available.
But, it seems that andoid supports
connection to Windows PC.

While exploring the internet
regarding this, I came across
the below link -

It seems that Android based
mobiles support connection
to upto 3 windows based PCs.

But it is not free :-(

Unable to get info regarding
the VNC / RDP or similar technology
based tools for connection between
2 mobiles of same OS or different
OS . Any ideas ?

To me it looks as if it is based on NXFree (optimized reverse X-Server).

IMHO, NX has multiple advantages over VNC.

IMHO, NX has multiple advantages over VNC.

NX Protocol runs on Linux,
Windows, or OS X that allows
you to remotely control a PC.
A free implementation of the
NX server component is known
as FreeNX.

VNC is platform-independent, so
a VNC viewer on any OS can
connect to a VNC server on any
other OS. There are clients and
servers for almost all OS.
RealVNC has various flavours -

I came across the below link
that has a very big list of remote
desktop softwares -

GPL versions are also present.
After seeing the above list,
i think, TightVNC is better
that RealVNC.

I think, FreeNX(GPL) does
not have a windows client :-(

In versions that are based
on fees, Citrix XenApp seems
to have support for Windows
mobile client, Blackberry
client, iPhone Client, Android
client. It makes it clear that
by having above clients in the
mobiles, a user can view the
desktop PCs/laptops, :-)
But, it does not clearly convey
if the corresponding servers
are present and whether those
servers can be run in mobiles
so that connection between
2 mobiles is possible. :-(

I did not find any explicit link
confirming the usage of
one mobile to view the contents
of another mobile .

Lemme know if 2 mobiles can
have the either FreeNX / VNC /
Xitrix XenApp / TightVNC
client/server installed in them,
to view either of the mobile
contents. Any ideas ?

On Windows I'm using a free (as beer) NX client. I don't know if there
is a GPL/open source distribution of same.

But on the Phone you would need the Linux version, anyway.

(Remote Desktop Software Server /
VNC serrver) on Mobiles, i got the
below link for server on the
Pocket PC -

PocketVNC server represents a
VNC server implementation for the
RFB protocol (Remote Frame Buffer).

PocketVNC server is for Pocket PC.
Is there similar Server for embedded
linux based mobiles / Symbian
based mobiles / Android based
mobiles so that it can be used
between 2 mobiles having the
same OS ?
